Crochet Christmas Decorations

When you were little you remember the tree all sparkling with anticipation of the day when Santa Claus Visits. There is just something to the marvelous magic of Christmas.

The doll or the car you drooled over just magically appearing under the tree. Never realizing that Mom was up nights making clothes for the doll you received and your sisters. This was a great way to see that as we got older that she really cared for us to take time to do this

One Christmas we found our presents wrapped up in newspaper. Did we care, of course not, we found fun things inside.. I Still do not know to this day if we were to poor to get gift wrap or what. This is just a memory but not a bad one.

When we had the foil tree with the spinning lights marveling us we still enjoyed Christmas. Christmas decorations are okay even if they are just simple bells made from egg cartons and foil. The really memorable ones are the crocheted banners on a red or green back ground.

Bringing up your children to appreciate Christmas traditions are fun. When the church needed to be decorated everyone pitched in and it was done really quick. Children love to help and they are really proud to make it beautiful. When my oldest girl got to play bells for Christmas it was a great experience for her.

One year they were in a Christmas play. It was presented on a stage with many other people they learned to dance and sing as a group. The only down side to it was the director that was not treating the young ones as she should. If my children are going to help you make money and work for free then treat them with respect.
