Winter’s Warmth Slipper Socks!
Socks are the perfect cozy accessory for keeping winter’s chill away. The slippers are super easy to stitch up are topped with an optional fluffy topper. Make a pair for you and a pair to give as a fun gift too!

Materials:
6.5mm “K” crochet hook
1 ball of Red Heart With Love (I used the “Pewter” colorway)
1 ball of Red Heart Fur (I used the “Polar” colorway)
Tapestry Needles


scissors
Ruler or tape measure


Sizing:
14 inches tall
9 inch circumference

chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (sl st)
Single Crochet (sc)
Half Double Crochet (hdc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Instructions for main part of slippers:
(worked in Red Heart With Love (gray yarn)
Ch 4, join in the furthest ch from the hook with a sl st to create a ring. (If you prefer the magic ring technique, feel free to do that instead)
Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as a dc) then work 11 dc into the center of the ring. Join with a sl st to close round.
Round 2: Ch 3 (counts as a dc). Work a dc into the first st. *Work 2 dc into the next st. Repeat from * to the end of the round. Join with a sl st to close round.
Round 3: Ch 3, then work a dc into each st. Join with a sl st to close round.
Repeat round 3 for a total of 14 inches or until desired height.
Instructions for fluffy top edging:
(Worked in Red Heart Fur (cream yarn)
Tie yarn into any stitch along the top edge of slipper. Ch 1, then work a sc into each st. Join with a sl st to close round and fasten off.
Finishing:
Weave in any ends that remain.
