Longitudinal striped sweater (Knitted)
Cross-worked arm-to-sleeve, this sweater’s colors show up in a simple garter stitch that’s perfect for no-frills beginners.

You will need: yarn (100% cotton; 90 m / 50 g) – 400 (400) 450 g light green, 150 (150) 200 g yellow and 150 (200) 200 g nougat; long circular knitting needles number 5.5; Circular knitting needles 5, 40 cm and 80 cm long.
Important: Due to the constantly increasing number of loops, the round needles numbered 5.5 should be knitted in rows in the forward and reverse directions.
Number 5 round needles should only be used for lower bands and neckband.
Pattern 1: Garter St = knit and purl rows.

Attention: The sweater is knitted from arm to arm, starting from the left arm. The arrow in the drawing is the direction of the loop bars.
Knitting Description:
For the left sleeve, dial 50 (54) 58 s with a light green thread on circular knitting needles and tie 1 reverse row with facial loops. This series is not taken into account in further calculations. Then continue working with pattern 1 in the strip order.
For arm chamfers after 9 cm = 26 s. Add 1 x 1 p” from the string line on each side, then every 4th p. 3 x 1 p. And every 2 p. 19 x 1 p according to the pattern and in the order of the strip = 96 (100) 104 p.
